Early Origins of the Easley Family

Like a broken mirror, putting together all the pieces — small, large, all different.
Hoping when completed, your image may be clearly seen by the direct reflection from the scattered pieces from the past.
Hundreds of insignificant pieces at the beginning — hazy, tarnished with time and holding many deep secrets which can not be seen on the surface and may be lost forever.
So is genealogy… — Jerry L. Robinson

It with great appreciation I present this Compilation of Works to the Journals of History on behalf of my brother, Victor D. Easley. We Invite You to Join the Journey, Explore More and Enjoy. Ponder Gander and Wonder along the Way. Vincent R. Easley II

Stephen Easley’s name is not on any headstone and there lacks any record of his internment beyond supposition.

There are a couple of unnamed graves marked by fieldstones while others, shown only by sunken ground remain unknown, forever lost to time.

There is just such a likely spot laying at the East-end of the footstones of John and Mary’s graves that I believe could well be his final resting spot.

Golden Nuggets: Treasures from an Awesome God By Marie Jennings E-Book Preview

This is no ordinary place as we can sense the sacredness. These departed souls lived their lives on this Earth and answered when God called.
Beautiful Ancient Oaks Stand Guard as to say, This is all we need in monument. We Are Alive! ….Be Still and Listen. – The Old Cemetery

Adapted from the writings of Marie Jennings | New Life and Old by Vincent Easley II

Jennings’ faith and walk with God are found in Golden Nuggets: Treasures from an Awesome God. The Bible is a holy treasure the whole world should possess. The golden nuggets interspersed around each promise glistens as each one fills a need.

Not only do the promises fill empty souls, but give directions for the living and prepares us for eternity. These treasures supersede anything and everything the world has to offer.
